Review: This story is takes place 6 summers ago with Liv and Finn where Finn moves to LA but comes back every year. The current summer is where Tom arrives to town and Live begins to find love. I have to say that I was kind of confused how this book was going to play out but I’m glad to have read this book It was a perfect summer read that literally would break my heart, heal it, and then do it again (even with the FMC). I enjoyed the storyline but I do have to say that the pacing of the story started to slow down in the middle and became a tad repetitive. This story was told in Liv’s pov with alternative timelines of past summer and the current summer.

Liv has been in Cornwall ever since the accident and is in love with Finn who leaves her. I liked her character and this girl went through so much in her life. Her development was well done even though it was a slow one. There are quite a few side characters. Finn is part of the band who goes to LA but comes back in the summer and Tom is a new arrival of the current time. I liked Tom a lot more and Finn was not that in love with Liv to stay for her. The romance is friends to lovers and love triangle and it was so well done.

The ending was literally what ruined this book (in a good way) and literally saved this book. Let’s say that the ending will break your heart and reheal it in 5 minutes. So much happened that I can’t process it even 3 days later. Toon you just ruined me for romance.

*this book was sent to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*
